This is a wonderful story about a young knight named Sterling, who practices slaying the dragon that he sees flying around his kingdom. One day Sterling is venturing off into the wilderness and comes across Nugget the dragon, laying in a cave appearing to be sad. Sterling helps Nugget the dragon and befriends him.
This book teaches us not to judge people and that kindness can win hearts. It is filled with big beautiful drawings. This will surely be a child favorite.

More About the Book
In a land far away, many fear a dragon named Nugget—including Sterling, a brave young boy, who dreams of becoming a knight. Sterling sets out to slay the dragon, until his quest presents him with a choice: fight or help. In choosing kindness and compassion, Sterling becomes a true knight. As the first story in Judd B. Shaw’s Sterling the Knight series of medieval adventures, Sterling and Nugget the Dragon teaches kids how kindness is mightier than the sword.
