Vicki started this company working with her mother’s original body lotion formula using natural ingredients and essential oils. “It’s formulated specifically for dry and fatigued skin—skin that’s been doing. Vicki took her mother’s formula and created an even more natural pure/clean product for the body. “I work with 18 natural ingredients and essential oils in designing my products. 95 percent of all my ingredients are of natural origin,” she adds. 

 

Ida Body Care features four products: Dry Brush, Body Wash, Body Scrub and Body Lotion.  Each product performs equally well on the body, but for best results, she recommends using the four-step body treatment.

Dry Brush: Dry brushing helps by gently exfoliating skin, deeply cleaning pores, stimulating capillaries and improving circulation. Best followed by a shower or bath. Dry skin brushing is one of the best ways to cleanse the skin without removing the protective mantle of acids and oils. Used throughout history in many diverse cultures, dry skin brushing has been practiced as a preventative for dry skin and a way to exfoliate the body, thus simulating skin renewal. MSRP: $10.00

Note from Patty: Have you ever tried dry brushing?  I do it all of the time.  It’s wonderful and leaves your skin feeling soft and invigorated.  I highly recommend it to everyone. It helps get rid of the dead skin.

Body Lotion: Ida developed this lotion with 18 natural and essential oils plus collagen protectors like Coconut oil, Shea Butter, and Sunflower Seed oil. Apply it in the same way she lived her life—generously. It’s a formula first perfected by my mom, Ida. The line features a verbena citrus scent. “Our Verbena Citrus, sometimes called lemon verbena, has a zesty, sweet scent of lemon. The joy of Verbena Citrus is the engaging lemony smell that leaps from the light green leaves of the aromatic herb,” Vicki explains. “The lemon verbena essential oil is used as the bouquet in our products and will disseminate, allowing you to wear your favorite fragrance.”
