When I first walked into the Philly Pretzel Factory store I was greeted with the wonderful scent of fresh baked pretzels.  It smelled so delicious that my mouth started to water. The only thing separating me from all this goodness was a glass display case. There were rivets (mini soft pretzel bites), hand twisted soft pretzels, pretzel dogs, pretzel cheese steaks, pepperoni pretzel melts, and cinnamon pretzel twists.  There were so many different items to choose from that it was difficult to decide.  So, I got a little bit of everything.      Philly Pretzel factory features a plethora of dips !  They include: yellow mustard, honey mustard,  spicy brown mustard, cheddar cheese dip, nacho cheese dip, cinnamon dip, philly cream cheese, chocolate dip, buttercream dip and marinara sauce. How does one choose!  I decided to go with my family's traditional favorites this time, yellow mustard, spicy brown mustard and cheddar cheese dip.

This beautifully illustrated book teaches us that everyone has a gift they can give to the newborn King, no matter their size or stature. One cold night in Bethlehem, this sweet cat returns to her stables and see that a baby has been born there in the night.  All of the animals surrounding the cat tell her about the gifts they have given to the Christ Child, and this makes the cat sad that she is too little to give a gift to the baby Jesus.  When the stable cat sees the baby shivering in the manger, she leaps into his manger to comfort him and realizes that she can give him the greatest gift of all, herself. This is truly a beautiful story that can become a traditional Christmas story with your family. A lot of people hear the word Grinch and they think negative thoughts, but if you think about it, the Grinch's philosophy really wasn't a bad one. For some reason, some people feel that they have to spend exorbitant amounts of money during the holidays to make others happy, on gifts they really don't need. I have always been a firm believer that God puts people in our path for one reason or another. This morning when I woke up, all I could think about was getting my home in order for the holidays and that I had to run out the door to pick up a few things to tidy up the house with.  I grabbed my keys, some cash and my list, kissed my cat and headed out the door.  I remembered that my husband wanted me to mail out our annual donations, so I grabbed them and put them in my purse.
