Certainly, anyone can wash
their face with soap and water. But, when I want to get my face deep
down clean, I like to use a spin brush. By using a spin brush, my face
gets 6x cleaner than by using my hands alone. I always give my face a
good washing with a gentle facial cleanser before each spin brush use.
This is my own personal preference. I also make sure to remove my
makeup as well.
So, I guess you are wondering
how to pick a spin brush that is best for you.
First, you want to choose a
brush head that is perfect for you. You don't want an abrasive brush that
scratches or irritates your skin I like the Soniclear
Petite by Michael Todd Beauty. It has an antimicrobial spin brush
head that really gives me a deep cleaning. It is waterproof and is
rechargeable, so I never have to worry about batteries. An extra bonus is
that the brush head lasts up to 6 months. It is lightweight and
comfortable to hold. It is also gentle on my skin.
The Soniclear Petite
by Michael Todd Beauty has 3 speeds to address different skin
types or issues. It even has a built-in timer that lets you know when to
move on to the next area of your face. This ensures that I am truly
getting a deep cleaning. No more guessing. The Soniclear Petite is
one smart spin brush.
When you first start using a
spin brush to wash your face, you may notice some dry flakes of skin. That is
perfectly normal. That is your face's dead skin cells that are being
removed so that new ones can produce. Also, if you break out, wait a few days
to a week and then start again. Many times, when you introduce something
new to your skin, it takes time to adjust, but in the long run, it is worth it.
I like to use my cleansing
brush at night before bed or after a long day so that I can get all the dirt
and pollution out of my skin. Plus, I like to get any deep down dirt and makeup
out as well.
Most spin brushes say you shouldn’t
use your skin brush more than once a day because it really isn't good for the
skin. It can cause it to become stressed out and react by giving you an
uneven skin tone. However, Soniclear Petite is so gentle, it can be used
up to twice a day.
Lastly, keep your skin brush
clean by using a gentle alcohol based cleanser.
