I was recently sent Insta Natural Essential Oils in Peppermint and Lemon scents.  They both smell fantastic.  If you like a lot of scent, you will love these too. I love using essential oils in homemade items and gifts.  I decided that I was going to make some Peppermint Scented Bath Salts to give as gifts  to the hostesses of St Patrick's day parties that I am going to be attending. The supplies needed are: Epsom Salt Sea Salt Baking Soda Food Coloring InstaNatural Essential Oils Metal Bowl Measuring Cup Decorative Jar Ribbon Start by mixing together 1-1/2 cups of Epson Salt 1/2 cup of Sea Salt and 1/4 cup of Baking Soda Add a couple of drops of Food Coloring and mix together until you get the desired color you want.  I recommend keeping it light. Today is the last day of Mardi Gras.  In honor of the festivities, I wanted to tell you the history of how the Po' boy sandwiches came about. The famous Po' boy sandwiches of New Orleans are said to have been invented in 1929 during the transit strike. Two former streetcar conductors by the names of Bennie and Clovis Martin  had opened the Martin Brothers Coffee Stand and Restaurant in the French Market back in 1922.
